Well this seems to be an extremely popular article. Seems like a lot of folks are finding it via google searches on Inspiron 5150 power adapter issues. I thought I would update here with the fact that the new power adapter I received clicks just the same as the old one. So this is probably normal but it would be nice to know for sure. If anyone can elighten us here please do via the comments.
