Get this. The resolution I seemed to have figured out (Linksys was of no help in the end) was to not just unplug the power cord from the unit but to actually unplug the power brick from the wall. This doesn't make any sense to me but this corrected the problem every time while disconnected power from the unit but not from the wall did not. Perhaps someone knowledgeable in electronics can tell us this is possible in some way. My guess is that the power brick somehow gets into a state of perhaps not putting out the correct power characteristics.
